This Rockstar Pink was my second Sally Hansen Nail Polish.  Thank you so much to Shane, one of my sweetest and closest friend at work.  

One little girl was excited as I was.  Of course, my Chesca counted herself in. hahaha.  I really had to make her fingernails or else she'd gone mad. hahaha.

And here's how mine looked like.  So glittery pink and ready to party.  I love it big time!  It lasted on my fingernails around 3 weeks.  Until now there are some small parts remaining.  hahaha.

Colors add to life.  Wherever there is, things turn out wonderfully ~ irresistible in nature.  One of my mom's many favorite stories is her pregnancy.  She said she knew I was a girl because she loved her red finger nail polish matched with her lavander preggy dress. Or is it? Haha. She enjoyed applying the color each time.  I guess it was sign.  I am a girl indeed. hahaha.  Not to mention while growing up, nail polishing has been one of my favorite beauty regimens.  Most girls do love it.

This interest was even handed down to my daughter (who else) and neice, Noelle.  They're only 6 but nail polishing is one of their play times.  I remember, when they were around 4, they played with some nail polish bought from Divisoria (where one can buy cheap items in bulk, mostly made from China).  Too bad, the polish ruined my daughter's fingers and toe nails.  They were melted and I was in shock.  No nails remained.  Her dad Chester was fuming mad for what had happened.  Who wouldn't be?  Noelle, who constantly washed her polish was saved from the incident.  After some months, Chesca's nails grew and so I promised she wouldn't apply cheap polish again.  We just started putting some colors back this year 2015.  But this time with high-end and branded nail polish, even from Australia.

I would like to thank Charlone Keith Licayu, Shane's hubby for this present from Australia when he had this business meeting there. The box was for Reizel, Chona and me.  Awww!! thumbs-up for you Charlone!!!  and tight hugs to Shane.  She is one blessed soul!!! 

I am undeniably excited to share this nail adventure the first time I saw the package.  Who wouldn't be?!

MODELSPREFER (SPECIAL EFFECTS) Kit comes in three categories ~ Nail Polish with 2 base coat colors White and Fashion Pink, 1 clear top coat.  Second are the 3 Glitter Nails with brush in plain white, silver white, and gold. Third are the 3 Sugar Nails with funnel in Sherbet (deep pinkish), Gobstopper (rainbow colored) and Crystallized (white silvery). Fourth are the 2 Stud Nails with applicator in heart and metal (diamond) shapes. So this set was worth $AUS22.99 (P793.19 in pesos).  For me, it's quite pricey but I guess for a set of all 15, it's alright, right mate? haha.

Chesca was super excited so I made her two hands after we cleaned up before bedtime.  We designed it to be retro.  She liked it!! What a retro little girl.

Of course I had to make mine.  At first I only finished my left hand.  It was so funny going to work with my left hand made and my right not.  The following day at work, Reizel continued working on my right.  hahaha.  I just did the finishing touches.  I wanted to be ready for Chesca's Field Trip.  I chose to use gobstopper sugar nails after the white base coat.  Here's how it looked like.  The reason why it is called sugar nails ~ so sugarlike beads.  You might feel uncomfortable at first since it was bumpy but after a while, you'd get use to it.  I even had a hard time peeing because I couldn't use all my fingers at first.  Each sugar nail stuck so well and yeah, it was sure to stay.

 As a first timer with designed nails, it was exciting.  Exploring another nail art for a while is fun to do especially with my daughter and friends.

Word of Advice:

1.Make sure when you try this nail art, you don't wash clothes or do anything that might ruin it.  Besides any nail art won't last a long time.  A week or so, it may.
2. Make sure after you try it, apply nail hardener because it may weaken nails.

Balmed and Colored because of Maybelline Baby Lips

Hi Guys!  Have you ever wondered why your lips are dry and cracking? Is it chappy?  Sore and sometimes bleeding?    Well, that is one of the many common problems of girls these days.  Due to the constant change of climate, our physical changes ~ our lips show the sign next to the eyes and skin. 

Way back younger years, I didn't worry about my lips.  They were pink, fine and soft.  I rarely use anything on it.  Due to some occasions at school and church, I have tried applying lipstick.  It was very nice.  hahaha. Around my 24 years, applying lipstick as part of my beauty regimen.  Back then, no problem was encountered.  Although I stopped eventually.

When I started working, it became a very normal application.  That was when I started to have lips problem like it was chappy, sore, dry and pale.  Maybe because the AC in the working environment was too cold.  Anyhow, I began my search for a lip balm.  I have tried several brands and finally last 2014, I finally found the product that worked wonders  ~ a lip gloss and color at the same time.  My favorite is this PINK PEONY color.  It is a balm (cure the lips) and at the same time, a lip color.  This shade works best on me.  This used to be Chesca's but when mine was all consumed, I decided to use this since she did not.

Chester paid P89 for this one when we dropped by at Trinoma and bought some 2014 Christmas presents for Chesca and Noelle.  Thank you Ches!

Longer Freshness because of HumanHeartNature

Because I deserve better...Get Organic to be safe!

For many years until 2013, I have been searching what intimate product would work best for me.  I really didn't care about the price anymore but of course hoped for something affordable.  I have tried many different feminine wash endorsed and not endorsed alike.  Too sad no product really met my expectation.  So, I tried kojic papaya soap and that worked well.  I used for it for about 6 months but still hopeful of finding an ORGANIC feminine wash.

So last quarter of 2014, I started using HumanHeartNature feminine wash ~ 100% No Harmful Chemicals.  It was my friend Pierne Revillo who introduced the brand to me when I commented her glow during a night church activity.  She told me she even came from her work which surprised me.  So I asked her what product she uses on her face.  She happily replied "I do not use anything except Human Nature."  That left an impression in my mind.

I bought first the 50 ml bottle at P 49.50 of HM at Landmark, Trinoma.  One of my hobbies is checking out the health and beauty section.  The first one I used is the same as this second bottle ~ lavander color and has the powder cool effect.  It comes in three colors - Blue, Pink and Lavander.  There's a bigger bottle as well. One 50 ml bottle usually lasts for a month for me.  May vary depending on the person's usage.  I use it in the morning after bath and before I sleep at night.  When I wake up, it still feels and smells good.

Notice that the end of the container also has some series of numbers - the expiry date May 06, 2017.  What's unique about PONDS is the tulip logo underneath the logo word.  

The only down side of this 8 g toothpaste container is the very tiny printing of the lower detail like customer hotline.  If you are in panic, reading this would even add to your dilemma.  So here's their hotline number in the Philippines ~ 588-7888 within GMA    Dial  1-800-1-888-7663 outside Manila.

If you haven't thrown the box, the hotline number is more visible to read.  But of course, we normally don't keep the box, right?  I guess, small packaging means small lettering too. 

I have applied this on my face last January 13th when I met Chester at PLDT Boni.  We had to fix the issue of the recurring DSL we never used since the time of transfer to the new house.  Honestly, I LOVED it. I used 5 pea-sized of it on my face. The first even lathering on my face was nice.  It left me a matte feeling and the oily traces were gone.  My face color looked toned, texture and lines even and smooth.  The smell was nice too.  Awesome!  Just as how I expected it.  So I am ready to wear it on the 30th again. Don't worry I will update this blog with that photo so you guys can see it for real.

Circles and Ellipses

Hi Guys!

I wanna share this painting all about circles and ellipses.  Ever since I was a kid, I kept wondering why the bubbles are round even if I used a square bubble holder.  My mom said because the earth is round or elliptical.  It's no beginning and no end.  So mystical in nature and very Godly in illustration.

I love bubbles.  Chesca love bubbles.  I think all kids love bubbles.  I think everyone likes it...right?!

Three Sisters ~ looking as one

Hi Guys!

One of my fave clothes when I was like 10 -11 was the 3 sisters dress.  It had 3 different colors.  I also bought Chesca her dress like that.  Well, I hope this painting I made would help you picture it.

I love fashion trends and one of the styles that really hooks me up is the layered fluffy style.   Mom made me and Chesca this red and white polka dotted dress for Christmas. According to the superstitious belief, one should wear polka-dotted dress or attire during New Year to invite prosperity.  Do you believe in that?  Check this out ~
